While agreeing with the main point of the article, that connectivity still has a lot of issues to resolve, we should not lose sight that USB-C is a lot more universal than its predecessors.

I'm all in, and have been since I bought my Motorola Moto G7 Power mobile phone in 2019. (I'm a moderately heavy user and charge it once every three days).

Every device I have bought recently has USB-C, I have made it a requirement.

My main gripe is that more camera and headphone manufacturers have yet to adopt USB-C. And I am shopping for both right now.
