Trapped within my truth

In musing about truth, more truths are stumbled into.

I’m talking about my truths
the beliefs that make me me

To reflect on my truths
I consider the truths of others

I’m talking about your truths
the beliefs that make you you

To reflect on your truths
I consider the truths of them

I’m talking about alternate truths
the rhetoric that makes them them

Othering intact
divisions are set

I watch people react
to other’s truths

Unaware of just how flimsy
some prostituted truths are

Naked truths that aren’t
worn by true emperors

A daily vile vomit
attempting to gain attention

And winning
so much winning

So in consideration
of anything I have said

It is an inescapable
concrete cold fact

that mine are the truths of others
to everyone but me.
