Excellent post, and very helpful as i try to get to the bottom of this topic. I found the limit yesterday, when responding to a poem I particularly enjoyed.

I'm hoping that it hasn't made the job harder for the Illuminated editors - I submitted my first article and there were a number of hours yesterday when I couldn't publish or write responses.

Medium did come back to me and lifted my suspension. Explained that being new and prolific meaning I had been mistakenly identified as having "suspicious behaviour". Medium apologized for any inconvenience, but gave zero guidance in what behavior may trigger a future suspension - something I am keen to avoid.

So a couple of hours ago, I asked Medium again.
